Cottage/Area Details: This C18th cottage is in a quiet corner of Eskdale Green
village, in the heart of the Eskdale valley. An ideal base
for discovering the quiet Western Lake District or perhaps
walking in the valley and up to the highest fells in the
country. The cottage is cosy with welcoming log fires
after a day out. There are modern facilities but the
cottage retains its traditional feel and has a large
attractive garden. The Eskdale Railway and Village Shop
are within 5 minutes walk and there are 4 pubs serving
