St. John's Chaple is a pleasant village with a small market square, well served by its half dozen shops, three pubs and two churches. There is a regular bus service to Alston and Stanhope.
St. John's Chaple is situated on the A689 Alston to Stanhope road. The house is located 20 metres off the main road, down a driveway, behind the newsagent. Brunbrae is in the centre of the village as the main road passes over and old stone bridge. |
