Cottage/Area Details: Eskmeals House is a charming Georgian residence dating back to 1761 set in it's own grounds with walled garden and woodland. It is approached down a short lane through woodland.
The House has accommodation for 21 people in 9 bedrooms and is suitable for large families or smaller families wishing to enjoy the space and ambience of a large, Gentleman's residence.
Eskmeals is near to Ravenglass, a beach with sand dunes and estuary leading to the wonderful Eskdale Valley, Wastwater (England's deepest lake) and Scafell (England's highest mountain).
Places of interest include: Muncaster Castle, Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Mill, the Eskdale Valley and Wasdale.
