Cottage/Area Details: Comfortable and fully equipped, offering indoor heated pool (with swim jet), Spa, and Sauna exclusive to Guests. and set in extensive level grounds with sitting-out areas, herb garden, enclosed water garden with fish pond, barbecue and table tennis. In addition, provided they are appropriately insured, DIY livery facilities are available for those wishing to bring their horses or ponies with them.<p>
Surrounded by open countryside which overlooks the Vale of Pickering and Newtondale, and adjacent to Cropton Forest, our delightful village stands in the North Yorks Moors National Park. It is ideally situated for access to many stunning walks, bridleways, and cycle routes to be found in the area.<p>
A 'must' for visitors of all ages, the North York Moors Steam Railway runs from Pickering past Levisham and on through 'Heartbeat' country to Grosmont. Other places of interest include the fishing port of Whitby (20 miles) and Scarborough (20 miles) which offers beaches, family entertainment and shopping.<P>
Granary and Owl can be booked together for a party of 8. Add ‘Swift’ or ‘Mallard’ for a Party of 13 or 14 or both for a Party of 19 in total.<P>
