The local village Inn is a short stroll up the riverside. Keswick & Cockermouth are 6 miles away. Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddow 2 miles. Osprey viewpoint 3 miles. Trotters Animal Farm 1 mile. Jemima Puddle Duck’s cottage tucked in the corner of the farmyard sleeps 5, spacious lounge/diner, with log fire, fitted kitchen. Rebecca’s Cottage overlooks the farmyard. Sleeps 2/3. Unusual reverse style accommodation with superb chunky oak beams. Visitors enjoy feeding ducks and collecting eggs and meeting all the farm animals. |
