Cottage/Area Details: Cowes is the yachting capital of the UK, and home to a myriad of yachts and pleasure craft. Solent Views is located on the 2nd floor of a converted Victorian Building, in a quiet road, just 100 yards from the seafront and enjoying panoramic views of all the activities of the Solent from the lovely, light and airy Open Plan Living Area.
The shingle beach is just 100 yards away, and as the water here is quite deep, racing yachts come in very close giving an almost "hands on" experience of sailing!
A two minute walk along the beach takes you to the renowned Royal Yacht Squadron where many regattas start and finish (don't forget to cover your ears when the cannons fire!)
The pedestrianised high street has chandlers and nautical clothing shops as well as a multitude of pubs and restaurants where sailors relay tales of their day afloat.
The apartment is ideally located to enjoy all that Cowes and the rest of this lovely island has to offer.
