Accommodation Description: Talbot Studio offers one double bedroom. Lounge and bedroom are on the first floor, kitchen/diner and bathroom are located down the spiral staircase.

Cottage/Area Details: Only three miles from Ullswater across Askham Moor, the sleepy little village of Helton perches on the hillside overlooking the Lowther Valley in the north east corner of The Lake District National Park. Lakeland slate and stone cottage predominate. Beautiful walks through the Lowther Estate take you to the neighbouring vilage of Askham with its two pubs, post office and charming village freens. South of Helton is the road to Bampton and Haweswater with the "drowned" village of mardale beneath.
