Cottage/Area Details: Tewennow Cottage is over 100 years old and nestles in the peaceful hamlet of Ellenglaze which has only six other properties including a beautiful manor house. This stone cottage has beamed ceilings and many attractive old features. It provides visitors with a welcoming and cosy holiday home away from crowds, yet popular Cornish towns and holiday attractions such as The Tate Gallery at St Ives and the Eden Project near St Austell are within easy reach.
Tewennow is south facing and has a glass entrance porch. There is a patio with parking at the front and a secluded patio and small garden at the back. The village of Cubert is less than a mile away and has a general grocery shop, post office, garage, pub & restaurant.
The beach of Holywell is just a 20 minute walk along the river valley footpath from the cottage and from here the coastal path offers magnificent walks with beautiful scenery. Golf, riding and fishing are available nearby. Newquay, Perranporth and Truro are all a short drive away and the cottage is ideally situated as a base for touring all parts of Cornwall.
