Cottage/Area Details: Built in the early 1800’s this sandstone cottage is tucked away down a cobbled lane in the conservation village of Wolsingham, in unspoilt Weardale, which is located in the North Pennines, a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Within a leisurely stroll there are three welcoming pubs serving good food. There are also a good choice of cafes, and local shops.
Wolsingham – known as the ‘Gateway to the Dales’ is well situated for exploring the attractions that the Northern Dales has to offer and is equally well placed for visiting the Historic City of Durham.
